JMD Specialist Insurance Services (JMD) has announced the appointment of Lloyd's Market Association Chief Executive David Gittings as a Non-Executive Director.

David Gittings has been the LMA Chief Executive since December 2006, having previously worked as Group Head of Risk at Wellington Underwriting plc and Director of Regulation at Lloyd's of London. David has also held various senior positions at the London Stock Exchange and the Securities and Futures Authority and was a founder member of the Board of the General Insurance Standards Council, which he served in a non-executive capacity from 1999 to 2002.
